Aaron and Dulcie Summers were married in 1994 and have two children. Samuel Aaron was born on September 1, 2001 and Isabella Grace was born February 11, 2004.
Aaron was born in Yuba City, CA on September 5, 1970 and adopted at the age of 28 days. Shortly after, the family moved to Rohnert Park, CA and remained there for 9 years. It was during this time that his family began to attend the First Baptist Church and where he made a profession of faith at the age of 8. In 1979, his father was transferred to Lousiville, KY and lived in a small suburb. After his father answered the call to ministry they moved several times before Aaron finished Dyersburg High School Dyersburg, TN in 1988 with honors.
Aaron attended Union University in Jackson, TN 1988-1992. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Math. While in college, he heard and answered the call of God to ministry. He pastored a small, rural church in McKenzie, TN until graduation, when he moved to Texas to work on a Master's degree.
In the Fall of 1992, he attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. He met Dulcie Ann Rogers in 1992 and they were married in 1994. Aaron received a Master of Divinity with Languages and Dulcie received a Master of Communication in 1997.
Aaron has served Oklahoma churches since 1996 in Buffalo, Guymon, and Addington prior to his tenure at Perry.
